UNE Breezy Cheeks
Breezy Cheeks is a cream to powder blusher. Very easy to blend, it can be applied with either a brush or your finger and built up for a heavier finish. It is very light weight and, although it is a cream-to-powder product, doesn't look cakey or powdery on the skin.
True to UNE's philosophy to emphasise and enhance natural beauty, Breezy Cheeks is available in 8 simple shades comprising of nudes, soft pinks and subtle browns. All the shades in the range give the skin a lovely sheer wash of colour, ideal for creating a naturally sun kissed or fresh glow and it doesn't contain any glitter particles, so no problems under strong lights, making it ideal for most make-up situations.
As you have found out recently, I do appreciate good packaging and UNE's packaging is simple and practical. The white, slide-lid compacts are recycleable and, with removable pans, designed to be refillable. The lid houses a useful mirror, giving you one less thing to carry, thus making it a perfect addition to your personal make-up bag. Being rectangular they are easily stackable although like many compacts, they can be a little bulky if you have a number of them in your make-up kit. For the pro Make-up Artist's out there, it is possible (although admittedly slightly tricky being a cream product) to depot the pan from the compact and store all of them in a larger empty palette - you will need to use double sided tape to do this though as the pans are not magnetic!
Breezy Cheeks is priced at around £8.99 and with the whole UNE range only costing between £5.00 and £15.00, it really is a very affordable organic option - Plus there are frequent special offers on the range instore and online!
A relatively new range, French cosmetics brand UNE Beauty only hit the UK in 2010. The majority of the products are ECOCERT certified and all are free from parabens and silicones and are cruelty free. UNE work in partnership with Plan, the global children's charity, to protect the rights of girls in Cameroon by promoting access to quality education and helping to provide the skills to enable them to move out of poverty.

I love a cream blush and will always reach for one over it's powder counterpart; I prefer the finish that a cream blush gives and find it a little more flattering overall.
I still like the finish of this blush and a number of Breezy Cheeks shades (four to be precise) still reside in my kit and are used on a fairly regular basis, however there are a couple of reasons why I probably will not be replenishing my stocks as they run out.

Firstly the ingredients. Athough it receives the highest score (0) on the EWG database, Bismuth Oxychloride is an ingredient that I generally try to avoid in my kit, although admittedly this is not always possible. A common filler ingredient widely used in mineral and natural make-up brands, Bismuth Oxychloride is a byproduct of a process and not a naturally occurring ingredient (unlike Bismuth which is a natural metal and numbered 83 on the Periodic table) and is a common trigger for skin irritations. Having since discovered other cream blushers that don't contain this potentially sensitising ingredient, such as those by Vapour Beauty and Kjaer Weis, I don't feel the need to replace them as they run out useless I really need to.
Secondly and this is admittedly a slightly silly reason, is that sadly the UNE range is no longer stocked in Superdrug (where I used to purchase it) and also now only found in the larger Boots stores and online. For the purposes of colour and texture testing I do prefer being able to try before I buy and if I can go into a shop to test out a product before purchasing I will, even if it means travelling across town to do so.
Breezy Cheeks Blush is still available to purchase online (albeit expensively) at Love Lula and (significantly cheaper) at Boots.
