Eco Eyes

I recently wrote about my Top Five palettes for creating Multi-tonal eyes and one of my picks was the Green People Limited Edition Eco Eye Trio. These lovely little palettes are perfect for creating a midiad of looks with just three colours.I have been using this eyeshadow for quite some time and have always been impressed by it. Easy to apply and easy to blend, the beautifully pigmented Eco eyeshadows can easily be built up to increase the colour payoff. The only negative I would say is that the shadows don't wear very well, with the colour fading reasonably quickly.

There are 5 mini palettes in the current range, each with a trio of complementory shades; Smokey Grey (white, silver and graphite), Aqua (Icy, aqua and sky blues), Plum (sugary and deep pinks and plum), Earth (sand, old gold and chocolate) and the beautiful Limited Edition palette (Azure, burnt orange and midnight blue). The three shades give you the option to add colour, highlight and definition where you need it.

Winter 2012 brings a new range of talc-free mineral eyeshadows from Green People (along with some eyeliners) which, I assume, will replace the existing range (hence their current price). Of course, this means that these babies may not be around for too much longer, so grab them whilst you can!

The Eco trios are usually priced at £18.40, which for 3g of product is a little on the steep side, however the majority of the palettes are currently on sale on the Green People website and are priced at just £9.00 or £6.00 for the refills!

  1. I'd love to try Green People products! I don't think they're available at all in the US.

    1. Hi Mary, thanks for reading. The products are lovely so worth a try. I believe that Naturisimo ship to the U.S, so it may be worth having a look at their site. I hope you have some joy there, Laura x
